.223 FMJ Sufficient for Coyotes?

the V max bullets are good ones... I just shoot the factory hornady in 55 grain and 40 grain. The 40 grain are actually more accurate in my gun that the 55 is.


I agree with the poster above... how many coyotes are you going to shoot to save money with FMJ's over a better bullet?
 
Ben86 , best to check local laws. Don't know what state your in so I can only tell you in Illinois it is illegal to hunt anything with FMJ bullets. I reload so I shoot more for the same amount of money, and have been using some 53 gr hollow points I got off of GB that are made from 22LR brass. Can't go much above 3000 or the come apart in flight. They are explosive on anything they hit even out to 300 yrds.
