Is ~$135 shipped a good deal on 1000 new unprimed Lake City Brass Casings? I need to load up on .223 cases and have heard that this is good stuff to use.

Nevermind, I went ahead and ordered it from Natchezz. Does anyone know how to delete a thread? I cant seem to figure it out.
 
o well, guess i'm out of luck. Also, for anyone interested, I called Natchez shooting suppliers earlier and verified that these rounds were not pulled and do not have crimped primers. I thought that was a pretty good deal, considering the amount of time it'd save.
 
Thanks. I was actually looking for the page that has the LC, not the home page. I ended up finding it, but only after I used google to seach the site. How do you find anything on their site?

I received a shipment of this brass today and it looks pretty good. The box was kinda beat up and the zip lock bag was torn and leaking brass. I counted it and it was short about twenty pieces and Natchez blamed it on UPS and said they would credit me a couple of bucks. I am up to six loadings on some old LC brass for my AR's, so hopefully I will get several thousand uses out of this bunch.
 
Not as good as the LC brass that you have :neener: But you could get this and have me process it for ya. You know it will need it:evil:
 
wow, didnt realize people were responding to this thread. My brass looks great. I've processed 350 peices so far with no problems. The case necks are annealed, they look fine to me.
 
But it didn't look like this when you got it did it.;) Some ( about 7K ) processed Once Fired LC.

I also received some - mine was a couple days ago though. My necks look pretty good overall. Some that may need a trip through a die, but most look fine. The necks really aren't different than bags of 100 - those usually seem to have some dented necks too.

And no, they don't look like ReefRaider's - but I'm fine with that.
 
same here as far as the necks go, mine look good. Also, i finally finished counting all my peices. I have 996. I figured the ~13 cents *4 = 52cents wasnt worth fussing over. Although they could of done a better job packing, I'm sure a few slipped out the corner holes of the shipping box.
 
I can only see 2 things that would make this brass a deal.
1 is its all the same headstamp ( for what thats wourth )
and
2 for you guys with out a S1050 there is no crimp.

That 7K of once fired in the pic is ALL LC 07 with the NATO CROSS. I have another 10K of it but its not processed yet. God I love that machine. ;)

That has got to be the best price I have ever seen on New LC brass though. Enjoy it while ya can.
