I tried using Wolf 223 primers for handgun ammo.
I had ~60-70% light strikes in a G19.
A month later, I tried it again in an FNX, figuring a hammer-fired pistol might do better. I experienced approximately the same failure rate, and second strikes had a 0% success rate. (To this day, I've never had any success with a second strike except for the time I cut too many coils off a 9x18 pistol mainspring. And even then, it only worked if I ejected the round and rechambered it, so I put any stock in "second strike capability." But I digress.)
Since my rifle doesn't really need 223 primers, I switched to regular SRP. I've shot at least 1k CCI 400's in my handguns without a failure. It's nice to know my SRP's can do double duty if need be.
