I loaded some .223's with 26 and 26.5 grains of BL-C(2) for my Remington LTR. The rifle has a 20 inch barrel and a 1 in 9" twist so the 40 grainers I tried first didn't do so well, then I tried the BL-C(2) and the short search is over.:D

I have been really intrigued and have wanted to try ball powders with my 223 but I am worried about pressure swings with the temp changes.

That is an excellent group! BL-C2 is one I have never tried. My own 700LTR .223 has proven to be the most accurate factory rifle I have ever fired. With the 69 match I have great results with H322 and Benchmark. With the 55 grain match Benchmark and H335 and with the lighter 52 grain H335. Maybe I'll give BL-C2 a try one of these days - thanks for the post and target pic.
