I have reloaded enough and read the book enough it is not me!
We have a 223 wssm that when you reload the bolt is tight to close when I use the brass! After 1st shot, I use the silver Winchester casings the reloads are fine, and I do bring the sizing die down until it cams over so. Silver works. Brass is tight. The question I work in a shop with a surface Grinder could I take .0005 +/- off the shell holder to fix this? Or would that give me shoulder problems?

You likely need to move the shoulder back a few thousands, and if you are indeed camming the die over, taking .005 or .010 off the shell holder should give you that extra stroke needed. Just don't go too far and create a headspace problem with the brass. Work the brass until it just allows the bolt to close on the empty brass. Make sure the brass hasn't gotten over trim size.
I've loaded the 223 wssm, and that brass is thick and harder to move than other calibers due to the high working pressures generated by the wssm and wsm rounds.
The Lee dies that I used worked perfectly, and seemed to have room to spare for adjustment.
