Was wondering if the dimensions (like maybe shoulder angle) of the .223 Wylde chamber are such that it would not let a .223 Remington GO gauge chamber.

Just got an upper half from RRA chambered in .223 Wylde and I have a friend's set of Forester gauges for the .223 Remington. I was figuring at least the 1.4636 inch GO gauge should chamber and was surprised to find out it didn't! I tried an empty FL resized .223 case and it chambered fine.

After speaking with RRA, they said the chamber was headspaced using a Wylde gauge. So, either the .223 Remington GO gauge is wrong (and that will be checked out by Forester), or the Wylde chamber is just enough different from the .223 Remington that a GO gauge will not go. Anybody know more about this?
