Yesterday I saw some of these on the shelf. I picked up 2 boxes. Before I checked out, I had to go back and get the last 2.

It wasn’t until I got home I saw the “1-8 twist or faster” printed on the side of the box. My barrel is 1-9!

I know the answer to my question, “Will these stabilize in my barrel?” I have to load some and try them.

I’ve been searching for a heavier “hunting” bullet and thought I found it.

I’ve been working up a load with 69 grain Nosler Custom Competition bullets. I haven’t gotten a 1 hole, 5 shot group yet, but it’s still in the development stages. But they definitely stabilize since some of my testing has resulted in sub 1” groups. Yet I know the monolithic bullets are longer per weight than lead core bullets.

My goal is to shoot the heavier bullet rather than a 53 grain bullet at 3,800 fps just to have my new barrel wear out quicker. And the higher BC will help me in this windy country.

Has anyone had success with this bullet in a 22-250, .220 Swift, 223 WSSM and a 1-9 twist bullet?

My mag limits my OAL and my experience is Barnes like a little “jump” off of the lands so my hope was they might shoot as well as the Nosler bullet for accuracy, fingers crossed!
