Working on a round that will have similar case capacity and performance to a 224 Weatherby and/or 22-250.

Point being, at 224 Weatherby velocities with a given bullet weight, just how heavy will I be able to go given a 1:10 twist choice?

I figure 65 grain bullets for sure, but would be even happier if it'll stabilize 70+ grain bullets well. Anyone with more experience than I able to help me on this one? First jump into 22 centerfire, have a lot of calibers but all bigger. So it's a little bit of a deep step :)

It all depends on the bullet shape and length. A heavier flat base bullet should stabilize better than a long VLD type boattail. You just have to try different types, the old fashion way. With the velocity potential, as you suggest, a 68-69gr HP boatail may be ticket.
