Is this normal for .224 50g TNT bullets?
They measure .2335 at the very base. Just off of the base up to the ogive they measure .223 .I don't think that they are setting very straight in the neck of the case. I wonder how well that .223 is gripping the rifling. They aren't grouping very good. I know that I can work on the load to get a somewhat better group.
What I really want to know is if this is normal for the TNT. If it was just a box of 100 I would just shoot them and be done with them, but I have a box of 1000. I don't want to mess with trying to get Speer to replace them only to receive more of the same.
