ready to buy P229..just one question : is that true, that .357 SIG ammo shooting
"wearing out" the pistol ,then 9mm ...?

I haven't heard of any .357sig pistols wearing out faster than their 9mm or 40S&W counterparts.

Factory .357sig ammunition really isn't that much hotter than some +P and +P+ 9mm ammunition, and Sig pistols handle that stuff just fine.

No , it's a lie propagated by the 357 SIG haters.

I have a 226, 239, and 229 in 357SIG. They look just like their 9mm counterparts and have more rounds through them.

..That`s what I`m want to hear ! Thanks a million,gentlemans !
Try before only .380,.32,.22 and 9mm. Thats why ask...Say 357 SIG is great !

I just bought a 229 in 357 SIG - a police trade-in. Until I refinished the slide it showed lots of holster wear, but internally it was fine. Accurate and tight. Good gun.
