I load a 45 gr Hornady "Hornet" bullet over 13 gr. of Lil Gun (you can't get much more in the case) and it is a serious little round with a mv of 2850 fps. It works wonders on prairie dogs out to about 175 yds.

My Hornet is a 77 Ruger. I load the Hornady 35 grain V-Max with 12 grains of L'il Gun and a standard pistol primer(suggested by Sierra).I do not know the velocity but at 100 yards,I get very good groups some being less than an inch and some at an inch and a half. Byron

I load 35 grain v-max with rem cases and 12.8 grains of lil gun. I use Win Small Rifle primers. I fired some of these at the range the other day and got a .4 inch group at 50 yards with my NEF Handi Rifle.

RE: 22Hornet

With 35gr and lighter bullets, H110 yeilds higher velocities than HodLil'gun.
I use with 33 and 35gr bullets:
11.2gr of H110, Small Rifle Primer, seated to 1.740" (touching rifling) and get 3,150fps. This is max for MY rifle.
I also really like 7.8gr of #2400 @ 2,300fps-duplicates .22wrm and ~9.0gr gives 2,800fps. approaches 1.0" at 100yds with no-wind.

With 40gr Sierra VarminterHP, at 1.780" (max to fit magazine), I use 12.5gr of HodLil'Gun with Small Pistol Primer, and get 3,050fps. 13.2gr (max case will hold, and book max) I get 3,100+fps but accuracy is not nearly as good as 12.5gr.
11.0gr of H110

With 45gr bullets (misc.) I use 11.7 Lil'Gunfor 2,750fps and excellent accuracy.
Similar to 11.0gr of H110 @ 2,700
sim. to 11.5gr H4227 >factory duplication
sim to 11.2gr of Acc1680 >factirt duplication

With 50gr Hornady SX bullet, I use 10.8gr of AA#1680. loaded 1.840" (must be single loaded) It lt only gets ~2,500fps but will occasionally shoot near 1-hole. I have a number of groups that have gone under 1/2" when wind is calm.

Interesting "plinking loads"
Lyman #225415 @ 49.5grs. w/gascheck
#2400 @ 6.2gr- 2,100fps
#SR4759[/B- @ 5.8gr 2,100fps -quite accurate
Unique @ 4.2gr - 1,550fps duplicates with slighter heavier bullet Win.Dyna-point .22wrm load
Bullsye @ 1.3-1.8gr= 1,300fps (duplicates .22wrf, or "heavy" .22lr load)

Just about any of the ballistic tip 40 grs 12.5 grs Li'l Gun, small rifle primers shot smaller groups than small pistol primers and the CCI small rifle bench rest gave the best groups they ran right around 2,800 fps.

Goose were those 22415's wheel weights, and what kind of grouping did they give what, twist on your barrel?

204 ruger is 21.7 of h4895 under a 35 gr berger hp ..got a .215 5shot group once with that load.
hornet is 12.5 lil gun under a 37 gr calhoon dbbl hp
