Day1 Review consisted of a newly built Kidd 10/22 Customized platform and a CZ452 Varmint both shot at 50 yards with various ammo trying to determine which brand each likes.

Day2 Consisted of the Kidd 10/22 Customized platform, CZ452 and this time I brought along a Savage MarkII TR. Each were shot at 100yards with various ammunition from the bench utilizing front and rear sand bag rest.

I know it is not the most scientific but I was able to achieve my goal in determining which ammo I need to keep around for each platform. I also had a ton of fun and after the testing shot at some remaining clay birds someone had left around.

Stop over and tell me what you think, leave comments.

Nice. Which of the three guns do you like best?

Viking499,

You would ask me that question only to make me suffer more :) Loving everything tactical the Savage MarkII TR makes a perfect trainer with it's weight and feel. Not to mention I am a fairly tall guy guy with long arms. The length of pull and fit just feels perfect to me. So even though it did not shine well in this test and this outing my choice would be the Savage.

Didn't mean to put you on the spot.;) Just curious to what you liked.

I have 2 of the 3 you listed. No Savage. One 10/22. Six 452's. I might be a little biased......

The CZ452 is definitely the best out of the box. I have just never been very fond of the thumbhole stocks and again it is a little short for me.

The 10/22 stock fits me well and I must say the feel of the Kidd trigger and fit I actually feel most at one with it.

I picked up a TH stock to put on my Ultra Lux awhile back to try with my BRNO sights. Like it so far with the open sights. Jury would be out if using a scope.

Also picked up a Boyds Rimfire Hunter to put on a scoped trainer. Like that stock.

If you don't like the TH stock, buy a Boyds or CZ Varmint stock and sell your TH stock. Might even find someone to trade you.
