Hey guys, just picked up a used Savage Striker in 243 and wondered if anyone had any good results with factory loads in any bullets weights from 55 gr & up. I shoot a TC 35 Rem contender for deer and would like to use the 243 for coyotes/deer. Scope included is a 1.5 to 4x Burris but it is much more difficult to use than my Leupold 2x. Maybe the scope is beat but Burris has a great reputation for pistol scopes so I'm surprised. No manual was included so I'm using a downloaded version which does not cover much. This appears to be the plain version in blued steel with fiberglass stock. Any info on where to mount sling swivels would be great.
