What's to say? It's like the other short magnums. 10% less velocity for 20% less powder. Right at the same performance, with a bit less recoil.
Drawback--if it's really a drawback--is limited magazine capacity. This shouldn't really matter on a hunting rifle.
Advantage for the rifle itself as a package is that the shorter action allows a longer barrel for a given overall length.
There's a "road test" in the June issue of G&A.
