All the wssm rounds are decent cartridges but were not embraced by the public and are languishing mainly I guess, because of factory ammo cost.
I don't have any of the wssm line but have reloaded the 223 wssm, and it is a sassy little round. All I can do is point to the www.alliantpowder.com or www.hodgdon.com sites and tell you to work up loads using quality bullets if you plan on hunting deer sized game. Try Nosler Accubonds and/or Hornady Interbonds for reliable expansion.
Some of the newer powders have been developed to work great in the short magnums, and viewing the load data will show this.
