25-06 nickel brass

Hey everyone... New to the HIGHROAD...
I load for a 25-06 as well as an 6.5-06 and am looking for brass I can easily keep separated! Pain in the butt if they get mixed in the tumbler!!
I currently run nickel 270 brass for the 6.5-06 but the necks thicken when sized down that far.. I would like to use Nickel 25-06 for that gun but can’t seem to find any!
Anyone know of a source for nickel 25-06 brass?

Welcome, hornady has that new outfitter line of ammo, check they may have 2506 ammo.

I can usually find the Ammo..... just looking for brass if possible to use for the 6.5-06.

I have had good success when forming brass cases to brass cases. I have had a 50% failure rate when necking up nickel cases. Most of the cases I have formed were from 30/06 to 338/03 and 35 Whelen. Another observation; the necks got shorter by .035".

I have cases, it has nothing to do with being busy but it will be 5 or 6 days before I can dig.

With the nickel plating making neck sizing up-down an issue, if you find nickel .25/06 maybe just keep them as is and use brass cases for the 6.5/06?

Remington used to make nickel 25/06 brass, I’d check to see if anyone still carries it on gun broker or a similar auction site.
