250 rounds later - nothing sweeter then a Model 19

Shot my new to me S&W Model 19 4" today at the range. It's a P&R blue with target hammer, target trigger, white outline and a red ramp front sight. Ahrend finger grips - a truly natural gun to point and shoot.

By far the sweetest pistol I've shot - more fun then my 1911, my Model 1917 and even my K22.

I shot .38s and practiced reloading from a speedloader. I'm going to try my hand at IDPA/IPSC next month.

I'm in love.... I think I need an "extra" one

Get another 25K or so through it, it will feel like part of your body.

I definately need another one, mine is getting tired and needs a rest.

I think the M19 is the ultimate 357 magnum.

A friend has one that is in 80% or better condition that has not been fired in over twenty years. It is for sale ( price unknown at this time) Is there any concerns with the age as far as strength goes, and what is a fair price to pay.
