256 winchester magnum reload help

I have a Ruger Hawkeye 256 winchester magnum and I need some reloading
help with what primer to use with 2400 powder 60 grain round nose
hornady bullets.
I have cci 500 small pistol primers & 550 magnum Primers and
Winchester 108 small pistol primers and 111 large pistol primers.
any help would much appreciated.

Me thinks you need to consult a reloading manual, and you should invest time and effort in knowing what primer the case takes?

Thank you for your reply. I have all kinds of reloading books but all they show is for the 256 minchester magnum rifle which was made by Marlin. All these primers was left to
me when my dad pasted away along with the pistol.
Now if any one out their has any old reloading books around 1962 - 65 that could help. I have wincester 256 magnum cases and some winchester 357 magnum cases that i have neck down.
can any of you old time reloaders help me.

Same load data works for all. I load for a Hawkeye, T/C Contender and a Marlin 62. Great cartridge and very effective. I use 2400 and small pistol primers with good success, 2400 ignites easily.
