Hi,
I'm hoping someone out there can give me some info regarding a reamer drawing. I've adapted an M1 to a 260 Rem by turning a new barrel and chambering. My problem is this...the fireformed cartridges are not extracting, maybe one out of three or four, and are still sliding into a Wilson case gage without any friction. In measuring the base I found them to be .469 whereas a SAMMI case should be .470. If anyone is able to direct me to a 260 Rem reamer drawing I would truly appreciate it. This chamber would be beautiful for a bolt gun but not a semi-automatic such as my M1...in needs room to contract for extraction.
What I plan to do is turn a mandrel to size and lap the chamber open a skosh. :banghead:

I'll find mine and post something tomorrow.

Here ya go:

I had this reamer made to feed in an across the course bolt gun and for mid and long range shooting. the base is .4738. The lead angle is 1/2deg to feed 142gr SMK and Berger 140gr bullets.

Thank you very much. Looks like I'll try to open my chamber up by .0015" to .002".
