A friend wants me to load some 270 cartridges for him. He prefers the Remington 150 gr core lokt bullet. I cant find them listed anywhere except as a loaded cartridge.
Does anyone know if Remington sells this bullet?

Could not find any availability of the 150gr core-lokt for reloading.
IMO, 270 Win works better with 130-140gr bullet weights anyway.

I used 150 core lokt factory ammo for a couple of years. I switched to 130 gr and couldn't be happier.

If he's dead set on 150gr, check out the Combined Technology bullets. Very good stuff. You might be able to find the Winchester Power Point in 150gr. Almost the same bullets as the Corelokt from what I could tell.

I have always preferred the 130s for 270 but since I am getting older and fatter, and don't want to track 'em, the 150gr in a 270 will usually put them down right where they stand :)

Sierra makes a 150 grain SPBT Gameking. Hornady makes a 150 grain FBSP. A 150 grain Core-Lokt is an SP. Remington doesn't say what the base is for a thier bullet. The base is far more important than the point.

Remington no longer makes the 150 grain Core-Lokt available as a loading component.
Same goes for the .30 cal. 180 grain Round Nose and the .25 cal. 100 grain .
I have used Core-Lokts extensively for years now sadly I must seek substitutes.
