Want to use a hornandy 130gr sp and ramshot hunter powder,can't find data for this bullet . Can anybody shed light on this combo.

Didn't see your specific bullet but I may have just missed it. Either way I would pick a middling charge and work up.

I've used Hunter for several different calibers and found that using the standard load data and working up, I've usually hit my best loads a bit shy of the listed max. I rarely have used the exact bullet but always the same weight as was noted.

With that said, those are usually cup and core type and not the monolithic solid copper types.

I checked, and there is also load data for Hunter using 130 grain bullets in Lyman 50th. I also downloaded load data from Western.......and it has a whole list of loads for 270 Win using Hunter.

Most are showing start loads of 49.0 to max of 55.5 to 56.0.
