Win AA HS #9 Target Load, $4.49 if you buy 10 or more. Too bad they only had 10.

On the way home from buying more 28 ga. ammo at Green Top, I stopped at Dick's to see if they had any cheap shorts and shirts on sale. Nope, so I walked to the ammo shelf for the heck of it and lo and behold they don't put prices on anything. Ha. And very, very little selection of 28 ga. anyway (the AA and a #6 game load.)
But the 5" x 7" sale signs hanging from the shelves advertised 3 or 4 brands of shells, but no gauges, regularly $4.99 if you buy 10 boxes or more, for a mere $4.49.
I had the guy price the 2 kinds of 28 ga. and the system showed the regular price - the #6 hunting loads were right at $10 and the AA HS #9 were $7.50 - one less than the gun store and one more. Ha. So I asked the helpful gentleman to look at the sale signs and he pointed out that they don't say 12 or 20 only, although they probably should - they don't say anything about gauge at all.
He called up front and told the cashier that the price was $4.49. The bad news is they only had 10 boxes and they were all #9, but what the heck.
Now, where are those other 2 or 3 Dick's around here?
