A group of black gun owners are planning to take part in a pro-Second Amendment rally in Oklahoma City over the weekend to bring attention to the constitutional rights of African Americans to carry firearms.

The Saturday demonstration is expected to draw an estimated 200 gun owners over concerns that the Second Amendment rights of African Americans are not respected, organizer Omar Chatman told the Oklahoman.

Let's hope they get enough people so they're not depicted as half a dozen 2A supporters by Anti media.

If you're in the area try to add to their numbers.

There a good chance BLM or Antifa types will show up as well to either dilute or disrupt the 2A message.
I doubt it. First of all, their attention will be drawn to the Tulsa happenings, and secondly, neither the BLM nor Antifa are against guns. I could see them actually joining the 2A group.

Perhaps, but the moment they show up, with their signage and slogans, the media will paint it as a police brutality protest, not a show of support for the 2A. That doesnt fit the MSNBCABCNYT narrative.

Just like the CHAZ/CHOP thing in Seattle has been subsumed into a general anti-capitalism/anarchy/pro-communist statment when it started under the auspices of a George Floyd protest. You see mostly white hippies there now, and relatively few persons of color, at least on TV.

There was no twisting of the message, counter protests or drama. It was inevitably overshadowed in national news by the Tulsa Trump Rally, but there was some local coverage and some small national discussion.
Unfortunately it was a small turnout.
The only coverage I could find of the Saturday 2A rally.

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – Over a hundred people marched with their firearms in a Black gun owners rally to bring awareness to their Second Amendment rights.

They started at the Ralph Ellison Library and made their way to the Governor’s Mansion.

“It’s time that we let everybody know, especially those that may not be aware, that you can carry your weapons too and that you can protect yourself by any means necessary,” Michael Washington, the organizer, said....
We’re trying to get Black people to understand the Second Amendment does not only apply to a certain ethic group, that the Second Amendment applies to everybody.” Omowale said. “I don’t know if people can understand what it’s like to be in the shoes of a Black man in America today unless you’re actually Black.”

“I’m supporting freedom and people in any community or minority group who wants to exercise their rights and live in a country that is free and not repressive against race or anything,” Carter said. “If you look at the history of the United States in dealing with racial tensions and that whole environment — going all the way back to slavery — African-Americans have been belittled in their rights of bearing arms.”

Carter said Saturday’s event was about showing people a different side of the Second Amendment.

“We want to show America that we are ready, we are armed and we have rights,” Carter said. “We all come in peace, we all come in love and we just want to live within the constitution and laws of the United States.”

BLM not against 2A? On the contrary. I think perhaps you are confusing them with National African American Gun Association which supports the 2A.
