2A1 Front Sight

I just got my front sight blade assortment from Spfld. Sporters. My rifle shoots about 8 inches high at 100 yds. The stock sight blade is a (-.045). To start with I put a (+.030) in its place. Is there some kind of rule-of-thumb for adjusting POI on the Enfield No. 1s?
