2nd AR

Hey all,
I finished my 2nd AR build and I am having a blast. My first build, the one on the right, I finished about 9 months ago. It shoots great, and I just love it. I just finished the 2nd one today, the one on the left. I went with a different look, YHM long smooth forearm, magpul CTR stock, and a different pistol grip. I took it outside a few minutes ago before it got dark and just shot one round to make sure it cycles. And it does. I love when a plan comes together.
Anyway, I have spent the last 9 months shopping and buying parts bit by bit. For some reason that is just real fun to me. Any comments are welcome, cause I am about 50% into buying the stuff for my 3rd one.

Congrats. One can never build too many. I finish one, enjoy admiring it for about 3 days, then I'm ready to do another. Wait times are a killer right now, though.

I've never understood collapsible carbine stocks on long barreled guns, but if that's what you like, they're your rifles.

Both of these have 16 inch barrels. The one may look longer because of the smooth forearm.

Sweet rifles. You now have a terminal case of BRD (black rifle disease) to which there is no known cure. It is more addictive than crack, and about as expensive. Congrats!

Nice! I have to agree that these darned rifles are like a disease. I've built 2 myself, and now I'm wanting to build yet another. My problem at this point is what caliber? How about a 6.8 SPC or 6.5 Grendel? Maybe both? Hope you see where this leads.

KansasPaul, it is so funny you mention those calibers cause just yesterday I was doing some research on those exact two. From what I read I would probably build the Grendel but I assume eventually, you and I will have both. Man we are sick!!!
