I posted here a week ago, about a dissapointing first trip to the range with a new AR build. My rifle was not feeding correctly, it turns out the problem was the ammo. This time it fed Remmington, Winchester, and even Wolf without a hickup. When I tried the IK 03 headstamped surplus that I had been shooting last time, I got BANG...click! Anyway, I was actually able to really enjoy the thing this time, not worrying about what I must have done wrong. The rifle shot great, seems to be more accurate than I am, with open sights. I am still getting used to the feeling of the buffer bouncing around by my head, but I love what it does to recoil. Also, I thought it was cool that this gun put all the spent brass in one small pile at about 4 o'clock of where I was sitting. After some initial doubt, I can definately say I like my AR, and am glad I built it instead of buying one complete. Thanks, to all the folks on this forum, for answers during my selection, build, and troubleshooting phases!
