Took my red dot mounted on my SKS today to the range for the first time. I had great success. Those successes were followed by mishaps, mainly regarding the mount that is a tri-rail receiver cover replacement.
The good part of the day came with the great groups I was punching in paper. The red dot was precise. I wasn't expecting it to be that precise, considering I only paid 75 for it. I LOVE the fact that it has 2x magnification. Truly unique when it comes to red dots. Overall I was very satisfied with the red dot.
I was truly dissappointed however that the tri-rail alan screws were jiggled loose. I was without an alan wrench...bummer. I had to put it away. Lesson learned.
Ok now my stupid question. I was looking all over the internet and no instruction manual came with the optic. I was looking for the battery compartment, to no avail. I was wondering, where in the hell is it? I'm bewildered, any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Matt.
