Hello fellers!

I was just thinking about an old and deceased friend of mine who had a really nice little revolver I really liked. It's been 20 years since I've seen it , but to the best of my knowledge it was a 3 to 3 1/2 inch barrel S&W model 36. Am I correct in the model number? I'm pretty sure it was a "J" frame 5 shot ,38 special. I'm not sure about the barrel length, all I remember is that it felt REALLY good in my short fingered hand. It seemed to be a really handy size, it looked neat, and he said it shot much beter than it should. Do you guys or gals run into these very often? I would love to find one affordable for me to snatch up!!

In my fading memory the barrel was longer, but I'm pretty sure your right after doing a little snooping. I wonder how many 3" models were made compared to the 2" mod 36's?
