3.5" Beretta A391 Questions

I was out shopping for a used 3" Browning Gold, ran across it used, and have a couple of questions.
1. Should the fore arm nut have all the spring parts that seem to pervade A391 posts? b/c mine is just an empty cap much like an 870's.

2. Anyone ghost a round in theirs? Asking because I was going to try is in some local 3-gun tourney's.

different than 391 Urika

The 391 Extrema [ 3.5" gun] is COMPLETELY different gun on the inside than the 391 Urika [ the 3" gun with all the springs inside the mag cap ]. Very soft shooting, very reliable.

Thanks! I was getting worried because all comparisons are between the 303, 390, and the 391 with no mention that there's more than one "391."
