3" revolvers: how effective?

3" Barrels work well

My S&W Model 36 has a 3" barrel and it's a good shooter. I find it MUCH easier to shoot accurately than a snubbie. That extra inch makes a big difference in sighting, in my experience, not to mention the boost in velocity.

I believe this statement is incorrect. The fact is the effectiveness is less than the 4" and more than the 2"!
