800X is being used very well in cast bullet loads.

While I agree some handgun and especially shotgun powders can be used for light rifle loads with cast bullets when I do think of those loads 800X does not come to mind. The first reason is it meters like corn flakes and the second is, I find it to be very dirty.

When I want to load cast bullets in rifles I think of Red Dot, Green Dot, Herco, 2400, even Unique even though it doesn't meter well either but especially SR 4759.
