30 BR in a 308 action

I am thinking about building a rifle based on the 30 BR cartridge.

I was wondering if anyone here knows if a 30 BR cartridge will cycle in the action of a 308 rifle, specifically a savage 10 which is a box magazine feed 308.

A 30 BR will work flawlessly in a .308 action. However getting any of the BR cartidges to feed reliably from a magazine is a difficult proposition.
You will also want a slow barrel, something like an 18 twist.
