Are there any variations of Carbine that have a more reinforced case head? The small head diameter is great for keeping mags small and capacity high, but the case is presently limited in how high pressures can be driven before the primer pocket begins deforming. I think such an animal would be a great basis for a high pressure, high velocity pdw type round. Sort of a 5.7 Johnson, but possibly shorter with the same specs or full length with greater specs. An alternative to 5.7x28 with greater longevity, but not nearly as big a cost to capacity as going to a 223 or 9mm case head (like 22tcm)
