I've loaded about 200 rounds of .300 win mag with my Lee setup. The decapping mandrel on my neck sizing die broke and I sent it in for a warranty replacement. Lee quickly replaced the part, but I think it's the wrong size. It seems to be the correct caliber mandrel, but the overall length appears to be too long. It is almost exactly 3.5" long, and that seems to be almost a quarter inch too much, as the brass only seats into the die up to about a quarter inch too short.
Anyone have a .300 win mag setup they can measure the decapping mandrel length and tell me what it should be? I'm going to call Lee in the morning, but it'd be nice to have this figured out before then.
thanks!
