Can you guys help me out with some load data for 300WSM?
My Manuals are to old and dont list any data for the 300WSM and the Hodgdon site does not have what I am looking for.

Need Min and Max data for Hornady 150 grn Interlock Soft Points
I have IMR4831 IMR4064 and RL22 on hand.

Thanks Mike

Try Alliant's site for the Reloder powders. I use RL-19 in my 300 WSM. RL-17 was made for the short mags, but wasn't available when I worked up my loads. I will try it when I need more powder.

Google up Hodgdon Powder as they own IMR as well as Winchester powders and of course Hodgdon. Read their safety disclaimers and click onto the part where you agree with what you have read and then go to load data, select rifle loads, select calibre and your choice of powder or select all and you are home free. If you have a printer so much the better. You can get cheap file folders for your specific calibres for future reference . Doesnt get much better or easier than that . 10 SPOT

rl-22 and 4831 are too slow for the wsm.
i use rl-19 behind 180's, but now that rl-17 is available i am going to re-develop the load w/ rl-17 and 165's.

have IMR4831 IMR4064 and RL22
Hodgdon does not list IMR4831 with that light of a bullet because the powder is too slow for that caliber with light bullets.

They do list IMR4064 with a 150 Speer Grand Slam soft point.
You can use that data's starting load of 57.0 grains and work up as usual.

Alliant does not list RL-22 with 150 grain bullets because it is too slow for that bullet weight in the .300 WSM.

A good rule of thumb to follow is:
If the powder manufacture does not list a specific powder/bullet combination, it is because lab testing has proven it does not work either safely, or well.

Speer #14 list IMR 4831 with a 150 grain bullet in the 300 WSM. Starting charge is 67.0 Max is 71.0 @3256 FPS. Not sure How accurate it is going to be. But I guess you can find out. Never tried it in 300 WSM myself. My 300 WSM seems to like IMR 4007 SSC and H4350 with 150 grain bullets.

My Hodgdon manual shows IMR 4064 starting at 57.0 and maxing out at 61.0 using 150 grain Speer bullets.

I liked IMR 4350 in mine. 68.0 grains with a 150 Sierra bt. Can't seem to find the powder right now? Not sure why.
