Went to the rifle bays today, where they have steel IPSC style silhouette targets at 100, 200 and 300 yds.

I hit the 100 yd with the second shot. (standing, two hands)

I sat down and rested the gun for the 200 and 300 yd targets and rang them all!

What made it possible was spotting the misses. This allowed me to adjust the sight picture and hold accordingly until lead found steel.

Rested, the 100 yd target was almost too easy..........almost........

Give it a try sometime, you just might be surprised.

What gun?

It was a customized Springfield Armory, done by the same gunsmith that tunes Rob Leatham's guns. I won it a couple years ago at the Single Stack Classic. It has a Nowlin barrel fitted to it.

Impressive!

Thanks, but really, nearly anyone could do this. I started this thread to share with others what is possible with a handgun.....and that THEY can probably do the exact same thing!
