300AAC + Trail Boss; dangerous Hodgdon data?

I also sent Hodgdon an email when I made the suggestion and got a very different answer!

WARNING!
The “C”s do not belong in this data, it is an error of the person who typed in the data. We do not want the Trail Boss compressed as you say.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

I would hold off using that data until we find out if the C is a typo or the data does reflect a true compressed load which is dangerous.

I just looked at the Hodgdon online data site and the Trail Boss 300 Black Out data is very different there than in the 2018 manual. In some cases the starting charge in the manual is the max charge in the site. It looks like the data in the yearly manual is not safe because of the compression.

Uh, yeah, that's what I'm saying. And what I told the Hodgdon contact via email....who responded with the BS about filling the case to 30% less than the bullet base for Trail Boss....okay Hodgdon boys, if the printed data is wrong, how about we acknowledge that and put a warning on the website or something, huh?
