.300BO upper not cycling properly

Hey don't know much about .300BO but a guy I know just bought an Aero M4E1 10" complete rifle and says it won't cycle properly. I don't know much more than that but didn't know if any of you .300 guys could point to any common problems they may have. I suggested possibly changing the buffer weight or trying a different magazine or both but neither him or I know what weight buffer is in it already. Probably just a standard carbine buffer, correct? Is the .300 a lil bit finicky in the 10" and need to be tinkered with and tuned or?

Without more info we would simply be guessing. What type of malfunctions is it having would be a minimum.

That would help a lot, there are lots of guys here that can help but we need more to go on.

Without knowing more hard to say , but mine failed to feed right, and jammed constantly , until i went to blackout specific magazines. No problems since. Cheap fix if that's the problem.

As others have said….

In my case, two things helped:

• Adjusting the gas block (mine was adjustable - obviously…)
• Shooting 220’s vs 208’s

Your mileage will vary.
