.303 Brit. S.A. surplus ammo

Some guy is selling 1450 rounds on gunbroker starting at $505. plus s/h. It's S.A. ball, berdan, non corrosive. From what I read on the internet it's supposed to be really good ammo. Too bad it's berdan???

I was bidding on some greek .303 the other day and someone hit the buy now button.

That's a very good price for the South African surplus ball. At a recent gunshow, they were charging 50 cents a round for that stuff. I have some, and I'll put it this way- that's not ammo that I'm looking forward to shooting.....


......because I know I can't replace it for what I paid.

The only way Berdan is an issue is if you reload.

Excellant ammo. Buy it or loan me the link. I have 500 rounds of SA, and I wish I had more! My Enfields love it!
