I videoed it. Need to figure out how to post that. The muzzle crack is nearly the same sound as the target hit. I can hear the bullet trail, but not I film.
I can't help with the suppressor. But no, you don't need to use a super fast powder to burn it all in a 16" barrel. Even the slowest suitable 308 powder will completely burn well before 16". This might be something to consider from a 10" or shorter barrel.
