I'm a newbie with the AR 308, so please bear with me.
I prepared 1,500 LC 308 cases for reloading. they weigh between 175 and 179 grains. For my test loads for my RRA LAR 8 I used Winchester 308 brass.
they weigh between 155-158 grains.
Do I need to compensate loadings for the difference in brass weight?
Thanks

Typically with .308 (7.62mm) cases, the military are slightly heavier because they have thicker case walls, hence less internal volume. Your reloading manual should state that when reloading military cases charges should be reduced by about 1 grain. You need to work up a load in LC cases or commercial cases differently.

All I use are military cases so my loads don't vary. Others can chime in here.

Most definitely. Winchester .308 brass is about the lightest and has the most case capacity. Reduce any high end .308 loads developed in Winchester brass by 1.5 - 2.0gr when loading in 7.62x51 brass.
