308 rifle - 180 Grain in a 1 in 10 Twist.

Is this a good match up or should i go with a lighter grain load?

It'll do, but the .308 loves 165 grain hunting bullets with IMR4064. There's nothing a 180 will kill that a 165 won't.

I'll take the Barnes TSX 180 for it's better BC. For that matter, 180 will almost always beat 165 for for BC - start slower, end faster.
