308 suppressor choices

Met with my suppressor dealer today who showed me a titanium YHM unit with quick disconnect where the QD adapters can double as a flash hiders, or brakes. It looks as if I could use the same can on my .300 Blackout, 6.8 SPC AR15s, .308 AR10, and my bolt .308, all with QD. Any reason not to go with a program like this one? Cost is around $1100 plus $60 or so per adapter, and the $200 tax stamp.

I should have my 7.62 Phantom Ti within the month. I will be using it on an 5.56 AR and a .308 bolt gun. I went with the brake mount for the 308. QD is the way to go IMO, since you still have a muzzle device when not using the can, and don't have to worry about the can unscrewing constantly like you do with a screw on. Be aware that if your dealer doesn't have the can in stock and has to order it, it can be a VERY long wait. It took YHM 7 months to deliver mine ordered in early Feb 2012, not sure about current wait. That's before the 6 month Form 4 wait of course. Also, $1100 seems expensive, I paid $850.

Thank for the info, should have mentioned the price includes our sales tax @ 9.5% and shipping, it's OTD. The shipping time is another story, I'll ask about that.

ill recommend the TBAC 30BA. Cost can be had comparable if you shop around with different dealers. Very nice precision can and you can get brakes in different calibers. ill use mine on my 300 Blackout 8" pistol while im waiting on the Form 1 SBR stamp and the TTF Ark 30 can that will be dedicated to that gun.

Great in theory, but make sure you can actually get the adapters. I looked into getting a .308 YHM suppressor with the same idea in mind, but when I never could find any of the adapters I wanted in stock anywhere, I got a Gemtech HVT-QD after I'd purchased all the adapters I wanted first.

I always check here first for suppressor acessories, they usually have what I need and a much better price.

I went with the Thunderbeast 30 P1. Hopefully I should get the stamp back in a couple more months. Last time I checked they had spare pistons in stock.
