So I have looked at a few reloading manuals and they all list the winchester loads but not the Nato spec loads (lower pressure). Anyone hav leads on a relading manual that has the military Nato load data. Same for the 5.56 Nato, although that is higher pressures. Someone needs to make a Mil-Surp reloading manual....

Hornady's Reloading manual has a chapter on 7.62x51 NATO for the M1A as well as a chapter 5.56 NATO data for the AR-15.

Basically all it really amounts to is back off a grain or so from MAX .308 load data with most powders & bullets.
Which you should be doing anyway.

The 5.56 data takes up heavy bullet match loads where the .223 leaves off.

DO NOT get too caught up in the difference.
A max load is a max load, whether you call it .223 or 5.56, or .308 or 7.62.
