.32 ACP fun!

I recently bought a steel target from G&T Targets. I bought an 8" static steel target. I bought the target and the top piece from G&T, but made my own stand form an IV pole base and some 2" angled steel we had laying around. Yes, that is a new 2X4.

It has proven lots of fun to shoot, as well as making me concentrate, or miss. I have shot it anywhere from 25 to 50 yards so far.

Today I took my Browning Model 1922 and my recently (yesterday) acquired Beretta Model 81 to the range for some fun. After running some stuff over the chrono I set the target at 25 yards and just had some fun with my .32's.

I like the Browning a lot, but this Beretta is superb.

I've often thought about picking up a Beretta 81 or 82. Looks like a lot of fun. I'm semi-urban and in desperate need of an outdoor range.

The CZ 70 was always my favorite .32. It's a nice accurate gun, and a fun round. I've seen some of those Beretta's offered on an internet auction recently but the ones in my price range don't come with mags. I wasn't sure how easy it would be to find a .32 Beretta mag.

It's pretty cheap to reload.

Check ATG for a look at prices for loaded ammo. They are usually very competitive.

I also have a Taurus in .32 Mag.

I want a S&W Model 16 in .32 Mag. Some day, some day. I would love a S&W .32 Masterpiece in .32 Long, but they are very pricey. Probably never happen.

Got a CZ 70 for less than $200 and so far its been 100% reliable and very comfortable to shoot, recoil is very light.

OK, ok. That was a revolver. Here is my Benelli in .32 Long WC. It's a sweet shooter. An abandoned target pistol that found someone (me) to give it new life plinking at the range.

I have eyeballed those. I have never been able to see one in person to hold it though. I have been outbid on a couple of CZ 83's in .32 ACP. They handle pretty much like the Beretta 81. Very similar feel.

Benelli MP3-S .32 WC. And your right, it is sweet. Mouse fart recoil and excellent accuracy.

They make a .32 ACP version as well. They show up from time to time. I got out bid on a .32 ACP a couple of years ago.

.30 Luger and 9MM as well. I used to have a 9MM. Should have kept it.

Those ar 32 ACP. in 32 S&W I have a US Revolver CO tip up

In 32 rimfire I have an 1864 S&W Model 1 1/2

Although unsuitable for self defense (IMO) I find 32's a lot of fun to shoot (except the 32 rf, at ~$150 a box the ammo is rare and expensive, and the little revolver wants to break my wrist!!).

The only .32 I have now is a Seecamp. I had a Tomcat but sold it. After seeing that Benelli, I'm going to have to keep an eye out for one. And yes, more pics!

Aside from my Grandads old Iver Johnson .32 Short revolver, I've got a Walther PPK and a Browning 1922 in .32 ACP. I don't shoot the old IJ, but both the Walther and the Browning have proven themselves to be accurate, and reliable. The extra barrel length on the Browning gets all the velocity the little .32 is capable of, and it shoots right where it's pointed, in spite of the rudimentary fixed sights. The 9 +1 magazine capacity makes it handy for plinking at the range, too. The Walther works 100% with high velocity SilverTips or Gold Dots, and is usually my backup gun of choice in warmer weather.

Finally showing the 32 acp some love! Hate when people bash on it. Sorry no pics yet but I do have a MAB model d 2, cz 83, and had a beretta 81 that I gave to my dad as a b-day gift. All good shooters till rear sight on MAB loosened in the dovetail. Any MAB owners that know where to get parts?? Haha

My CZ 83 in .32 ACP came yesterday. It is a police trade in like my Beretta M-81. It needed cleaning and oiling, but mechanically it is in great shape. I hope to shoot it today. Picked it up off Auction Arms. $239+ $10 to ship, and of course $25 to my FFL. A bargain IMHO.

I must have had this thread in the back of my mind this past week. I went to a store with a plan to buy a 9mm, instead came out with a nice Walther PP in, you guessed it, .32acp. It's a 1964 model, actually Manhurin made, but with the Walther name on the slide. It's police marked, I'm told from Austria, and it's pretty slick. I've got a vacation coming up soon, hopefully I'll get out and have some fun with it.

the walther PP in .32acp, is the most accurate, of all the PP/PPKs, you will be very pleased. Had 1 was Interarms, West German, police trade in.w/flap holster. After you shoot it you'll throw your .380s away. oh yeah, IMHO.
