.32 ACP fun!

Pics man. The thread needs more pics.

o.k. :)

I've carried this one off and on over the years. Started carrying it again recently. Brilliant design , snag free, super slim, pocketable (in most of my pants) and super easy to conceal.

This one is from 1938. Not pristine, but still in pretty good shape. Shoots very well, and as reliable as they come with everything I've put through it. I prefer the hotter European loadings like S&B and Fiochi. The Buffalo Bore stuff looks interesting too (looks about the same weight and vellocity as the S&B with a better bullet design) . Love to try some out if I can find some.

I think that my colt 1903 is a very fun 32 to shoot. It is very accurate for a gun that has some of the worst sights I have ever seen. But I tell you for a ninety year old gun it rocks

Two nice 1903's. Maybe I will luck into a good deal on one someday. Thanks for the pics.

I recently bought a steel target from G&T Targets. I bought an 8" static steel target. I bought the target and the top piece from G&T, but made my own stand form an IV pole base and some 2" angled steel we had laying around. Yes, that is a new 2X4. :)

It has proven lots of fun to shoot, as well as making me concentrate, or miss. I have shot it anywhere from 25 to 50 yards so far.

I have a couple of the GT Targets 8" plates. They are lots of fun.

I like your base. Better than the 2x4 base I made. It gives me some ideas. Thanks

The base came from an IV pole. Picture it turned over with wheels on each leg. The middle plate was just off the floor, keeping the weight low for stability. We have several old ones in the warehouse. I call it the "Bermuda Triangle" because once stuff goes there, it is going to disappear. People either get it to use, it gets given to some hospital in a third world country, who are glad to have it, or tossed in the trash if things get too crowded. I am going to scrounge another one for future use.

Oh, and I made a mistake in the first post. My plate is a 10". I plan on getting an 8" plate as well one of these days.

Sorry to be so late........ I've got a Beretta 1935 .32 auto, came with the original flap holster, both in very good condition. It needed some TLC, new springs from Wolff, cleaned up and sparingly lubed, a fantastic shooter. It sits with me at the computer.

It sure is a fun round for shooting - I've got a 1903 Colt pocket hammerless and a Beretta 1935. The Colt is more enjoyable to shoot - there's no hammer to bite your hand (like on the Beretta) and it doesn't toss spent brass straight up to come back down on your head (like the Beretta does ) But the Beretta is still a cool gun and has got to be one of the easiest field stripping autos out there.

My two favorites:

I have a KelTec 32 auto, a Colt 32 long revolver, and two different 32 rim fire pocket pistols.

I have bid for, and lost, several other 32 pistols.

I would LOVE to have a Beretta Model 70 (jaguar) and a Remington model 51. - two of the most elegant 32autos ever made.

They are fun aren't they? Almost like shooting a .22.

They are lethal if shots are well placed, quick followup shots and decent penetration with fmj.

Not exactly Earth Shaker ammunition,

but Buffalo Bore markets a 75 grain, hard lead, RNFP.32 ACP.

Supposedly, it steps out at 1150. Never clocked it. It feeds in my NAA Guardian and is positively deadly to feral 'Phone Books that have been known to visit my back yard.

Better late then never.......

I love my CZ-83. I shoot my reloads with 75gr.FP from Rim Rock, powered with Red Dot. I sized them to .311. Shoots great in my gun. Great training load for those who are recoil sensitive, but need something with more punch then a .22.

Bottom line, cheap, accurate and loads of fun!;)

My Seecamp in .32 ACP

That looks like an old style "thick" base mag on your Seecamp. Have you tried a new mag? They are much better built and easier to work on than the old mags... in fact the new Seecamp mags are probably the best made mags I've ever seen.

Love the old Colt pocket hammerless models, but don't have one, and others have already posted pics of their Seecamps, but here's mine nonetheless.
