.323 8mm mauser and Varget

Looking to see if anyone had experience with a Varget load for 175 sierras. I am looking to make some loads for shooting steel with a M48 Hugo.

Normally I have the luxury of starting way low and working up, but I am just looking for a middle of the road target load.

I have seen anywhere up to 53 grains, but was planning around 49?

Any first hand experience out there?
