In NRA American Rifleman April 2008, Article-The .327 Federal Magnum (by Bryce M. Towsley) Page 64, 2nd pg states:

"The .327 Federal Mag. can be chambered in any handgun designed to handle the .357Mag."( I have a S&W 19/.357 and .327 will 'work' in it? )

OK , lets see if I got this right! .32/.327 and .38/.357
Is not the .32 a bit smaller then the .38? And so the .327 smaller then .38 and .357 ???

~thanks~

They mean that any .357 size gun can be chambered for the .327 cartridge.
Not that you can re-chamber a .357 for a .327.
