It seems that mouse guns are enjoying a resurgence of popularity thanks to Seecamp, Kel-Tec, NAA and others and IMHO, that's a good thing.
I have never seen a mouse gun shootout in any of the popular gun mags which would offer some ballistic info on these little monsters. Most of the gun mags are preoccupied with cowboy action, testing guns most of us will never be able to afford and .45 cal 1911's and all their clones.
What I would like to know is more accurate data on mouse gun ballistics. Particularly for semi-autos with a 2" barrel chambered in .32acp, .32naa or .380. No Bersa's, PPK's, Sigs or others with longer barrels, just 2" please.
I would like to see some kind of realistic stats about knock down power of these pocket guns at a real fighting distance. Which one fired at close range will do the most damage? I'm talking strictly semi-auto with a 2" barrel at point blank range of 4 to 6 feet. Let's assume we are going to use only Cor-Bon ammo in the most powerful load available for each of these cartridges. Again just the .32acp, .32naa and .380, please.
I know there are some experts out there who will know the answer and can explain in kindergarten language what's hot and what's not. There are probably lots of folks trying to decide which one is right for them and this info would be very helpful.
