My local range sells the 33 round Glock magazines. I didn't bother looking at the price the last time I was there because I thought (incorrectly) that the 33 mags were only for the G18 sub-machine pistol.

Anyone own one? Reliable as the 17 rounders?

I was going to pick up one and see how I liked it. I think it would be a pretty neat novelty item if the price is right.

I don't believe there are any laws on mag capacity in the town I live, but I don't plan on carrying or using it outside of the range anyway.

you may need it when the zombies take over. just kidding

How would it look in a G26

They aren't novelty. If you need a lot of rounds, the Glock brand 33/22 round magazines are the way to go.

They work 100%, in my experience.

I looked at the G26 and the other small Glocks. I thought the G19 was too small. I live in an open-carry state but don't carry anyway. Most of the cops around here carry G17s.

But yeah there are some pictures online of people loading the 33 rounders in compacts. Looks pretty funny.

Yes, a bunch of 'em -35 or 40 picked up when they were on sale for $25 apiece way back when.

Every bit as much, yes.

Can't go wrong with the "happy sticks"! Just make sure they are OEM.

I have a couple bought years ago. Factory mags seem as reliable any other factory mag. I use them in my 17, 19 and 26 at the range. I don't plan to actually carry them, but it is nice to take 2 loaded mags to the range and have 60+ shots available when plinking.

I've shot the 33 round magazines in my G26 recently. The G26 grip is small. My pinky finger cannot grip the grip, so the pinky was putting backwards pressure on the 33 round magazine, which caused numerous failure to feed issues. They worked o.k. in a G19 and G17.

I have a few of the factory 33 round mags. Are a 100 per cent reliable in my experience. Use them in my Glocks from time to time. Really use in my Keltec sub gun. Load up 33 rounds slap it in a Keltec and let the games begin.

I would rather carry two 17rd's than one 33rd like some people do for backup, but to each their own, since I don't doubt it is more convenient to carry one 33rd in some situations instead of two mags. The 33rd mags work in all Glock 9x19mm's from sub-compact up to the G17/G18 and of course a few other guns like the Sub 2000.

Honestly I would be a little leary of using the 33rd mags with lightweight ammo in the sub-compact model, but that's just me!

Not a Glock guy anyways.

As silly as it might sound, but that set up actually carries very well in a Galco Executive shoulder holster.

I bought one several years ago. I only took it to the range once and used it in my G-19. It worked perfectly. I put it back as a shtf mag. It also looks cool. :D

I have some 33 rounders for my G17.

The real Glock mags work excellent.

The Korean Glock mags are pretty good (and they were on super sale rack markdown at Cabela's believe it or not). The only weakness is the internal mold flash needs to be removed for the rounds to feed smoothly.

The imo cheapies are pure garbage and will fall right out when fully loaded. Don't waste your time. The lock/release ledge is wrong.

Sure wish I could find 20+ round 10mm mags!

They can be fun at the range. I have one for that use. The 'Glock on a stick' G18 magazine in a G26 is pretty funny looking (do that myself once in awhile)

Should be as reliable as any other Glock brand magazine

I bought two 33 round EOM's for $38. ech. I use them when I go to the range with the family so we don't have to waist time re-loading.

Never had an issue and my kids think there kool looking.

I have 16 33rd magazines. I use them for all 9mm Glocks that I have without any problems. I did buy them initially for the automatic shooting.
